Greetings, readers, and welcome back to another Wednesday Words. A dear friend of mine, Karen, sent me the following poem to share with ya’ll. It’s very long, so I’m giving you just a few lines from the beginning of it. They’re gooood.

How to Be Perfect
By Ron Padgett
Everything is perfect, dear friend.
—KEROUAC
Get some sleep.
Don’t give advice.
Take care of your teeth and gums.
Don’t be afraid of anything beyond your control. Don’t be afraid, for
instance, that the building will collapse as you sleep, or that someone
you love will suddenly drop dead.
Eat an orange every morning.
Be friendly. It will help make you happy.
—END—
I’m going to try to do at least one of these things today. How about you?
Thanks for reading!
Best wishes from your writer on the wing,
Charlene

Don’t worry, be happy!

Really, that’s “… all ye need to know,” Keats, forgive me 🙂
