Greetings readers and welcome back to Wednesday Words. Today all I want to do is share a link to a FREE thought-provoking, mind-stimulating, heart-refreshing newsletter I subscribe to called “Philosophy Break.”

Once upon a time, I was a college student in love with philosophy courses, so my interest in the subject goes waaaaaay back. Every Sunday the newsletter shows up in my Inbox. There’s always something of substance in it that reminds me to seek wisdom, love better, and be a more aware and thoughtful human being.

My husband, Hoyt, who is a Professor Emeritus of Philosophy, also subscribes and likes it. The newsletter is published by philosopher, Jack Maden.

Who is Jack Maden?

From his website: Jack Maden is:

“the Founder and Director of Philosophy Break, a social enterprise dedicated to making the wisdom of philosophy instantly accessible (and useful!) for people striving to live happy, meaningful, and fulfilling lives.

Having studied and written about philosophy for 15+ years, Jack now teaches three introductory philosophy courses — Life’s Big QuestionsIntroduction to Nietzsche, and How to Live a Good Life — to thousands of students across the globe.”
