Dear subscribers, I hope this Wednesday Words finds you safe in the aftermath of Hurricane Heleneāa terrible, gigantic, multi-state catastrophe. If you were in its path, I’m so sorry for any losses you’ve suffered. Today, I’m pretty much wordless, so this will be short. Please accept this post as my way of giving a little bit of comfort in this devastating situation.
We live in Florida and have friends and family members directly affected. Maybe you do, too. No matter where they are, my husband and I send our sympathies to all victims of this disaster, and our deepest condolences to those who have lost loved ones. To date, about 160 people are reported dead, and many are still missing.
Readers, if you can donate to a reputable organization to help hurricane victims, please do.
Stay safe, stay calm and carry on as best as you can.
Thanks for reading!
Best wishes from your writer on the wing,
