Greetings, readers. I hope you’re enjoying some time outdoors this summer when it’s not too hot! I guess that would be in the middle of the night, if these daytime temps continue to fry everyone. Anyway, today I revisit five of my favorite articles by my friend, author, and naturalist, Peggy Sias Lantz, who, sadly, passed away last December at age 92. I sure miss her!Peggy first published these articles in her church’s newsletter. Later, the church published a book containing all of them. You can buy it at Amazon: Earth Care: A Florida Naturalist’s Thoughts on Creation: Lantz, Peggy, Davidson, Dawn: 9798342017992: Amazon.com: Books.
Besides the Earth Care book, over many years Peggy published about ten books, mainly about nature, but also about her fascinating family history and her inspiring homestead on Lake Lucy, Florida. I encourage you to check them out at Amazon.
Just one of several obits for my dear friend is: Family mourns death of Ocoee author | West Orange Times & Observer.
