Have a Honey of a Thanksgiving

Hi friends,

Just a quick note to wish you all a good Thanksgiving. When I saw this photo of a bumble bee feasting on a luscious, purple flower, I thought of our chance to do the same this holiday, focusing on the sweet stuff of family and friendship, even from great distances.

Granted, we may not spend this year’s Thanksgiving holiday in our usual ways, given the escalating COVID crisis, but I do hope you can savor any and all dear moments of love … and maybe some pumpkin pie, too. That’s my favorite.

I realize this message seems a bit mushy, but a little of that can go a long way right about now.

Be good to yourself.

Our family sends best wishes to you for a peaceful and healthy holiday.

Your writer on the wing,

Charlene

    Charlene,
I don’t think your Thanksgiving note is mushy. We do need to fill ourselves and each other with good, kind, and sincere wishes.

Have a good Thanksgiving week, and weekend!

Charlene, thanks for the sweet and soft thoughts and wishes. I’m sure we can all use a bit of tenderness right about now. Lots of delights for you and your loved ones during this, my favorite holiday!

PS, that purple color fills me with joy and peace.
