Please VOTE in the Midterm Elections

My parents raised me to be polite. I try my best. So today I’m asking politely: please vote in the midterm elections. Believe it or not, your vote matters. What else is there to say? Whether you mail in an absentee ballot or vote in person, PLEASE vote in this midterm election 2018.

I’m probably preaching to the choir, since I think most readers of this blog already feel as I do that the future of our country is in serious peril, possibly like never before.

Unregistered Voter? Please register IMMEDIATELY and then please vote

Register here.

Registered Voter? Please vote

If you want to change the country for the better, DO SOMETHING about it. This is our chance. Please vote.

Fence Sitter? Please vote

Last time I sat on a fence it was pretty uncomfortable.

If you are on the fence, I urge you to jump off, make your preferred-candidate decisions, and please vote.

See you next time!

Your writer on the wing who votes,

Charlene

I will echo your plea to VOTE in this Midterm election, Charlene. No other time in all of my years of voting has been as important as now. Our country is in peril.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 9th is the last day to register.

If you’re not registered, please, please do register so that you can vote. Go online to find out what identification you’ll need to register, two forms of ID, I think.

Early voting begins on October 22.

Go online to find out where you can do early voting.
And if you can’t vote early, find out where your voting place is located and also the time the polls open and close.

There are twelve amendments on which to vote, so it will help you to go online to read each amendment, and have conversation with friends who are familiar with each one.

And finally, remember to have your voter registration card with you when you do go to vote.

    All best regards,
    Linda Goddard
